The Private Life of Plants is a series of BBC films about varying species of plants – very advanced for 1995! Although some of the footage may appear less “high def” than you’re used to, this was revolutionary for its time. Narrated by Sir David Attenborough, the films contain footage from “the plant’s point of view” and according to the BBC site, was filmed using “computer animations, fibre optics and unique time-lapse photography” (see BBC site).
Here’s a great clip of the venus fly trap.
